Jeffrey Weissman is an American actor who has played many roles in TV and Film. He has appeared in such shows as Saved by the Bell and Diagnosis: Murder as well as feature films including Pale Rider and Twilight Zone: The Movie. But he is probably best known for his role of George McFly in Back to the Future 2 and 3, performing under make up for the role played by Crispin Glover in the first film.

Jeffrey joined us on a fresh Thanksgiving morning in 2020, his love of acting and comedy shines though and it was a brilliant moment for us to be able to speak to someone who played a role in one of the greatest trilogies of all time. We were nervous as hell waiting for Jeffrey to arrive, maybe having a few more shots of Dutch courage than we should have!

Interviewing Jeffrey was an amazing moment for us. Being able to quiz such an experienced performer gave us confidence to grow into our podcast and gain belief in the Movie Chef.
Xander Berkley is an American actor, make-up artist, painter and sculptor. He has appeared in multiple Box Office movies including Air Force One (a personal top 5) Terminator 2, Apollo 13 and Shanghai Noon. Throughout his career Berkley has starred in hit TV Shows, with memorable roles in The Walking Dead, The Mentalist and a legendary performance as George Mason in 24.

Now. Time to be honest. One night in August I messaged Xander Berkley and asked him to come on the podcast. What do you Americans call it; a Hail Mary. Xander was the reason I love 24, his nuance with the character of George Mason led me and Corm to forming a friendship over binging Season 2 of 24 over and over again. And Xander said yes! We waited; a few messages (how he didn't block me I don't know) were exchanged and then he was away filming Butchers Crossing (out now, check it out). We thought the moment was lost, how could the guy who was impaled via milk carton have the time for us and our little pod. But then one night in December in 2021 Xander, Corm and I shared a drink over zoom and we had one of the most fulfilling and happiest experiences on the Podcast that we had had up to that point. A bucket list moment.

Natalia Baydan is CEO of Planeta Kino, the second largest cinema chain in Ukraine.
In February of 2022 Russia launched a full invasion of Ukraine, escalating the Russo-Ukrainian war which began in 2014.
The atrocities seen around the world at the time moved everybody, us included, and Natalia was hugely generous to give us some time during the first weeks of the invasion to tell us about life in Kyiv under bombardment, the implications on these actions for the Ukrainian people and the role of women in fighting against a foreign invader.

Natalia is currently still with Planeta Kino, working to reopen the entertainment industry in Ukraine and bring people back into cinemas
